How We Make Money
DayTradingToolkit is free to read. Here is exactly how it's funded, what that revenue does and does not influence, and where to read the fuller disclosure.

The short version
DayTradingToolkit earns money almost entirely through affiliate commissions: when a reader clicks a tracked link to a trading platform, broker, scanner, or other tool and signs up or subscribes, the provider may pay a referral fee. Readers never pay more because of this — the price is the same whether you click our link or go directly to the provider.
There is no subscription, no paywall, no course for sale, and no display-ad network on this site. If a page exists, it is because it was worth writing for readers, not because it needed to carry ads.
What earns a commission
- Affiliate links to trading platforms, brokers, scanners, charting tools, and similar software mentioned in reviews, comparisons, and guides.
- Coupon codes and deal links on the /deals page and inside relevant articles.
- Occasional promotional placements or partnerships, always labeled where a reasonable reader will see them.
Core education — the beginner curriculum, strategy guides, the dictionary, and the calculators — carries no paywall and does not require clicking an affiliate link to be useful.
What commission money does NOT buy
An affiliate partner cannot buy a better rating, a higher ranking, a positive review, or the removal of a documented limitation. Editorial verdicts are based on the evidence described in the Research Methodology and Editorial Policy, not on which partner pays the highest commission.
If a tool is a poor fit for a type of trader, that gets said even when the tool is an affiliate partner. If a cheaper or free alternative does the same job, that gets said too.
Why this page exists
A general affiliate disclosure is required reading most people skip. This page exists as a direct answer to a fair question — "how does this site actually make money, and does that change what I'm being told?" — instead of leaving that answer buried in a longer legal disclaimer.
