  • Newsletter subscription: When you subscribe to The Monday Briefing, we collect your email address. This is stored and managed via Brevo (see Section 3).
  • Contact form: When you contact us we collect your name, email address, and message content — used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Comments: If you leave a comment on an article, WordPress collects your name, email, comment content, and IP address (for spam prevention only).

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referrer URLs, browser type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Device data: Screen resolution, device type, and language preferences.
  • Cookies: Small files placed in your browser by us and our service providers. See Section 4 for full details.

What we never collect: payment information, government ID, precise GPS location, or any data from users under 13. We do not sell your personal data — ever.

02 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our content — which articles are read most, where traffic originates, and how users navigate the site.

What Google Analytics Collects

Anonymised usage data including page views, session duration, events, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 before any data is stored.

03 Email Marketing via Brevo

Our newsletter, The Monday Briefing, is managed through Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — a GDPR‑compliant email marketing platform headquartered in Paris, France.

What Brevo Stores on Our Behalf

Your email address, subscription date, and email engagement data (opens/clicks, used to improve content relevance). We do not store any other personal data in Brevo beyond what you provided at sign‑up.

Essential Cookies

We never share your email address with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties under any circumstances.

08 Data Retention

  • Newsletter subscribers: Retained until you unsubscribe; deleted from Brevo within 30 days thereafter.
  • Contact form messages: Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Google Analytics data: Event data retained for 14 months (our configured setting).
  • WordPress comments: Retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring.

10 Children’s Privacy

DayTradingToolkit.com is intended exclusively for adults. Our content covers financial markets and is not directed at anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

11 Data Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption on all pages (TLS 1.2+)
  • Cloudflare DDoS protection and Web Application Firewall
  • Regular software updates and security patches
